Baby blanket

I wanted to make something new, sew something. I have seen this blanket online, and i liked the idea of a baby blanket, that's more than just a blanket. So i decided to make something familiar, but with my own personal twist.

This is what I came up with: A blanket you can fold into an sleeping bag, and a pillow.

And here is how o fold it;

I don't have kids yet, so i don't even know if it works right, so i brought one to my cousin's babygirl and it looks like she loves it.

Shelf in making

Soo, i decided to make an old shelf look new. It took a hole day, but I'm quiet like the result. Even tho my roommate think it looks horrible. 

I bought the shelf, in the secondhand store. I bought it for 12$, sandpaper for 3$, and paint for 5$ (IKEA paint ftw!)

This is how you do:

Clean the shelf with a wet towel and let it dry.

Sand the shelf, with the paper and make sure all the old paint is gone, before adding the new paint.

Let the paint dry, IKEA's paint needs to dry for 6 hours, but check the instructions of your paint.

When your paint has dried, give it another layer and let it dry again.

Now you have your shelf, ready to hang.
